MESSAGE FROM CDF – MAY 2023

Hello Everyone,

Well finally it is May! Let’s all hope we get some sunshine and warmth in our lives. THREE bank holidays to enjoy and celebrate the Coronation of a King & Queen.

Times are still hard for a great many people sadly, I reckon all in all we will see 2 years go by before the inflation is under control and incomes have increased to cover the “new” prices of everything (prices that in the main will never go down!)

On the bright side, it’s nearly summer, so let’s all enjoy it. Other good news. CDF this week donated a Super Ergo chair to a local children’s charity to go as a raffle prize. The charity sold tickets to the value of £3200 and now have the funds they needed to look after the children a little more. We have also paid for a group of disabled children to go to the Circus this month. I am told they are very, very excited.
